Once I rediscovered my old/new favorite movie, I found this takhii.deviantart.com/art/Lear… and it had such a great impact on me that it made me want to draw more WALL-EVE, and once I got this idea, I couldn't help myself, I had to draw it.

I'd imagine that EVE would be extremely protective of WALL-E after almost losing him twice in the movie, well, three times if you count the time EVE almost accidentally killed him herself before they officially met, (Oops. Spoilers for an eight-year-old PIXAR film) especially considering her reckless personality. So basically, someone more soulless than Flowey attacked WALL-E and, being pretty much defenseless himself, runs to his destructive girlfriend for protection.

What's interesting about this piece is that all the special lighting effects as well as some other things like the cracks in WALL-E's left eye were done digitally. I sketched, inked, colored, and shaded both characters traditionally, but I didn't add anything complex knowing I would fix that in Paint.NET. Maybe I could learn digital art this way!

A little tip for beginners; Eyes. If you don't get the eyes right, everything else will look off, regardless of how well it's done.

Whew, that's a lot of words. I hope I didn't lose anyone.
